These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants booking a trek organized by Shiva Travels (A Unit of Wanderwings Holidays and Adventure LLP) (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). By booking and participating in the trek, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms:
1.1 A booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of the prescribed advance payment.
1.2 Full payment must be made before the commencement of the trek, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3 All payments are non-transferable.
2.1 Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email/letter).
2.2 Refund policy:
Cancellation 30 days before trek: 80% refund
Cancellation 15–29 days before trek: 50% refund
Cancellation 7–14 days before trek: 25% refund
Cancellation less than 7 days: No refund
2.3 No refund will be made if a participant voluntarily leaves the trek mid-way.
3.1 Participants must ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the trek.
3.2 The Company reserves the right to reject a participant on medical or fitness grounds without refund.
3.3 Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
4.1 Participants must follow the trek leader/guide’s instructions at all times.
4.2 The Company is not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of life, or damage to personal property during the trek.
4.3 Trekking involves risks such as altitude sickness, slips, falls, weather hazards, and wildlife encounters; participants accept these risks.
5.1 The Company reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather, natural calamities, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
5.2 No refund will be provided for changes beyond the Company’s control.
6.1 The Company acts only as an organizer and shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or accidents caused by third parties such as transport providers, hotels, or natural conditions.
6.2 Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation costs.
7.1 Respect for nature, locals, and fellow trekkers is mandatory.
7.2 Use of alcohol, drugs, or any unlawful activity during the trek is strictly prohibited and may lead to expulsion without refund.
8.1 Each participant is responsible for their personal belongings.
8.2 The Company will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
9.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
9.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
